Participants enjoyed programs only possible in “the tea capital Shizuoka.”
Attractions included visits to tea farmers who possess original philosophies
about tea growing, a tour to observe “Chagusaba,”which is a
traditional tea-grassintegrated system of Shizuoka that was designated as a
Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System, dyeing using tea leaves,
making green tea incense burners, and enjoying tea in a special compartment of
a steam locomotive.

In addition, Culture Experience Tour for Fujinokuni Exchange Student Goodwill Ambassadors and Foreign Press Tour were conducted.
